Let’s SEE! – Want to write for the seeFField blog in the new Winter Semester?
Did you know that seeFField also has a blog? Let’s SEE! is the student-led blog of the seeFField project, and gives you the chance to share your insights, research and knowledge on any Southeast European topic! With the start of the Winter Semester 2023/24, we are once again calling for blog posts on a wide range of subjects: from politics and history, through to culture, language, social and environmental issues facing the region… and many more!

Just write to us at seeffield@gmail.com with your ideas! Here are a few guidelines to keep in mind:
- Target audience: non-academics, students, pupils and others without detailed knowledge about the region
- Topics: free choice, with relation to Southeast Europe
- Language: German, English and regional languages
- Length: between 800 and 1,200 words
- Endnotes: if possible, without
- Literature: 3-4 titles as further reading on a topic
- Summary: between 100 and 150 words, preferably in one regional language from Southeast Europe
- Keywords: up to five, in the language of the blog post
- Photos: two photos per text
- We strongly encourage the usage of gender-sensitive language (especially in German texts). However, we accept the author’s individual choice.
Multilingualism is a cornerstone of the seeFField philosophy. This means that we love to receive and publish contributions in English, German, as well as any language and script of the region. Upon publication, a short summary of the post will be provided by our editorial team in another relevant or more widely spoken language.
