Image 1: Pashtrik mountain by Arlinda ShatriMasakra e Tivarit ishte një ngjarje tragjike gjatë muajve të fundit të Luftës së Dytë Botërore, kur Partizanët Jugosllavë detyruan mijëra burra shqiptarë nga Kosova të marshonin drejt Tivarit (Bar, Mali i Zi), me pretekstin e rekrutimit ushtarak. Pasi mbërritën, shumë prej tyre u ekzekutuan në vrasje masive. Masakra mbetet një nga krimet më pak të njohura të luftës në Ballkan. Heshtja që e ka rrethuar këtë ngjarje ka kontribuar në traumën ndërbreznore, me familjet e të mbijetuarve që mbështeten në histori gojore për të ruajtur të vërtetën. Faktorët politikë kanë ndikuar në mënyrën se si është kujtuar kjo ngjarje, duke çuar në margjinalizimin e saj në narrativat zyrtare. Njohja e Masakrës së Tivarit është thelbësore për drejtësinë historike, duke siguruar që mizoritë e së kaluarës të mos harrohen. Dëshmitë personale, si ato të ditarëve të të mbijetuarve, ofrojnë një pasqyrë të vlefshme mbi koston njerëzore të dhunës gjatë luftës dhe rëndësinë e ballafaqimit me padrejtësitë historike për pajtimin dhe paqen.
Hyrje
Lufta botërore në shekullin XX kishte një ndikim global, dhe e para ishte veçanërisht revolucionare në rishikimin e hartave, mbretërive dhe luftërave të mëdha të shekullit të mëvonshëm. Betejat dhe mizoritë më të njohura, si Holokausti dhe bombardimet atomike në Hiroshima dhe Nagasaki, janë të dokumentuara mirë; por tragjeditë më pak të njohura, si Masakra e Tivarit e vitit 1945, mbeten në hije. Ky studim do të shqyrtojë ndikimin e kësaj masakre në rajon, ndikimin e saj në kujtesën dhe identitetin e popujve të Ballkanit, si dhe mësimet që mund të nxirren prej saj.
Konteksti Historik i Masakrës së Tivarit
Në mars dhe prill të vitit 1945, ndërsa Gjermania naziste po shkatërrohej, partizanët e Josip Broz Titos po merrnin kontrollin e Ballkanit. Ndër synimet e tyre ishin edhe pjesëtarët e Ballit Kombëtar, shqiptarë nacionalistë dhe antikomunistë, të cilët donin t’i eliminonin. Rreth 2,500 deri në 4,500 burra, të dyshuar për bashkëpunim me forcat e Boshtit, u mblodhën nga Kosova dhe u detyruan të marshonin drejt Tivarit (Bar, Mali i Zi) nga Partizanët, me pretekstin e rekrutimit në Ushtrinë Jugosllave. Kur të burgosurit arritën në Tivar, midis 3,000 dhe 4,500 prej tyre u vranë në ekzekutime masive brenda një kazermë ushtarake dhe në rrethinat e saj. Ishte një nga rastet e shumta të mizorive hakmarrëse në Jugosllavinë e pasluftës, por një nga masakrat më pak të njohura të Luftës së Dytë Botërore në Ballkan.
Kujtesa dhe Heshtja: Lufta për Njohje
Ndryshe nga mizoritë e tjera të kohës së luftës, Masakra e Tivarit nuk ka marrë njohje ndërkombëtare. Nën regjimin e Titos, dhuna etnike brenda Jugosllavisë u shtyp për të shmangur ndarjet mes popullsive etnike të federatës. Kur Jugosllavia u shpërbë në vitet 1990, lufta për sovranitetin e Kosovës e riktheu vëmendjen tek padrejtësitë historike, përfshirë këtë masakër. Megjithatë, kjo ngjarje është anashkaluar në historitë zyrtare të Serbisë, Malit të Zi dhe Shqipërisë. Një kujtesë e tillë selektive nuk arrin të pasqyrojë realitetin historik, pasi është e ndikuar nga agjenda politike.

Ky studim argumenton se mosnjohja e masakrës ka shkaktuar dhimbje dhe zemërim të vazhdueshëm tek pasardhësit e viktimave. Të mbijetuarit dhe familjet e tyre kanë përdorur histori gojore, ditarë dhe kujtesën e komunitetit për ta mbajtur gjallë këtë ngjarje. Një nga burimet më të vlefshme është ditari i një të mbijetuari, i cili përshkruan marshimin, abuzimet dhe masakrën në Tivar. Më poshtë është një fragment i dëshmisë nga një i mbijetuar, Ibrahim Shatri, gjyshi im, i lindur në Kushnin – Has, në Kosovën jugperëndimore, i cili ka lënë pas një ditar që e ka quajtur “Kalimi jetësor prej nji familja” të shkruar për jetën e tij, që jep një pasqyrë të qartë të rrugëtimit të gjatë dhe rraskapitës që ai është dashur ta bëjë. Ai në bazë te asaj çfarë ka kalur në jetën e tij ka vendosur ta shpërfaq në një ditar, edhe pse shkrimin nuk e kishe mësuar më shkollë, por nga shokët e tij. Ditari i tij po shfaqet për herë të parë për publikun. Ai e shkroi këtë ditar në vitet 1967 – 68 kur ishte ne shtratin e vdekjes në spital. Këtë dëshmi, mendoj se është e rëndësishme ta ndaj me publikun, si pjesë e historise së tij, i cili la pas
“Më 2 mars 1945 kaluam përmes Kukësit. Ata planifikonin të na çonin në Serbi, por ne nuk pranuam, kështu që na drejtuan drejt Shqipërisë. Kur u nisëm nga Prizreni herët në mëngjes, arritëm në Kukës në mbrëmje. Aty na ndaluan dhe kaluam natën në breg të lumit Drin, poshtë urës. Nata ishte shumë e ftohtë. Isha zbathur, i veshur hollë, dhe këpucët e mia të holla u shqyen para se të mbërrinim në Kukës. Kur nisëm marshimin drejt Shkodrës, ecnim përmes maleve të larta të mbuluara me dëborë. Kushdo që mbetej pas nga lodhja, vritej menjëherë dhe lihej anash rrugës. Gjaku ynë rridhte nga këmbët, por nuk e braktisnim njëri-tjetrin. Kur më në fund arritëm në Shkodër, na arrestuan dhe na kontrolluan për armë. Të gjithë ata që kishin diçka, u ekzekutuan menjëherë. Pastaj na dërguan në Bar të Malit të Zi. Duhej të kalonim liqenin me varka të vogla, dhe papritur ushtarët filluan të qëllonin – 27 nga ne vdiqën. Masakra vazhdoi në Bar, dhe një ditë më parë ishin vrarë 1,700 veta. Kur arritëm, toka ishte mbuluar me gjak. Pjesën tjetër të historisë na e treguan ata që mbijetuan pasi u liruan. Unë pata fatin të mbetesha gjallë.”

Masakra e Tivarit është një shembull domethënës se si masakrat gjatë luftës mund të kujtohen, politizohen ose harrohen. Mësimet kryesore përfshijnë: Nevoja për Drejtësi Historike: Pajtim dhe shërim i komunitetit, duke mos lejuar që mizoritë e së kaluarës të harrohen. Rëndësia e Historisë Gojore: Dëshmitë personale dhe kujtesa e komunitetit janë thelbësore për të sfiduar narrativat zyrtare. Analiza e Konfikteve Etnike: Kujtesa e këtyre ngjarjeve mund të ndihmojë në shmangien e konflikteve të ardhshme dhe promovimin e paqes.
Përfundim
Masakra e Tivarit mbetet një nga krimet e luftës më pak të njohura të Luftës së Dytë Botërore, por vazhdon të ndikojë në identitetin dhe politikën e sotme. Është e rëndësishme të vazhdojmë të flasim për këto ngjarje për të siguruar një qasje më të balancuar ndaj historisë sonë.
